Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an essential issue in the economic development of a nation. The existence and role of this entrepreneurial group determine the progress or decline of a nation's economy. Entrepreneurial interest needs to be grown through the cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age through the application of entrepreneurship education. The role of entrepreneurship education is essential to create human resources with creative and innovative skills and other social skills. This study aimed to determine the implementation of entrepreneurship education to foster interest in entrepreneurship in junior high schools. The research method is a literature study with secondary data from internet searches regarding related journals. The study results found that one must have entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to become a successful entrepreneur. At the junior high school level, it is necessary to introduce entrepreneurship education so that students have entrepreneurial skills. Implementing entrepreneurship education at the junior high school level can be intra-curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities
