MANAGEMENT AUDIT OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES FUNCTION AT THE BUDI UTOMO MAKASSAR FOUNDATION

This study intends to understand the achievements of the role of human resources and convey suggestions and input on the various deficiencies that exist in the Budi Utomo Makassar Foundation. Human resource activities include: manpower planning, employee recruitment, selection and assignment of work, career planning and development, review of employee capabilities, occupational health and safety, employee satisfaction and layoffs. The research that was carried out was a qualitative descriptive research, namely data analysis through collecting explanations of non-numeric data, which were finally compared with relevant concepts to obtain the truth of the findings which were made into conclusions and suggestions. The subject of this research is the Education Foundation while the object of this research is the role of HR management in the Budi Utomo Foundation. Data analysis techniques calculate the extent to which the success of HR works with the elements in the study including: criteria, circumstances, causes and impacts. Based on the research findings, it turns out that there are some deficiencies. Several deficiencies were identified, namely: training and development had not yet formed the company's internal values, there were no indicators for compiling employee satisfaction. Based on the findings of these deficiencies, a number of suggestions or inputs are given which can be used as a reference for the Budi Utomo Foundation to improve and further develop the activities of the HR function going forward, namely it is hoped that the foundation can improve internal training and development so that loyalty can grow and develop in the future. each employee, then the foundation needs to immediately develop indicators of employee satisfaction and conduct a survey to find out the level of employee satisfaction.
